Mickey Bakst of Charleston Grill
Mickey Bakst is the General Manager of the Charleston Grill at the Charleston Place Hotel. Bakst came up with the idea for Feed the Need after learning that a budget crunch had forced Crisis Ministries to close its soup kitchen once a week. In November 2011 Bakst helped to launch Feed The Need in his hometown of Detroit, Michigan. He hopes to expand the initiative to other cities as well.
John Zucker of Cru Cafe and Catering
John Zucker is the owner of Cru Catering and Cru Café in Charleston South Carolina. He has been active in numerous charities including Spoletto USA, American Red Cross.
Michelle Weaver of Charleston Grill
Michelle Weaver is Executive Chef at Charleston Grill. She has been involved in numerous charitable efforts including Darkness to Light and The American Heart Association.
